During my internship at Kiefel GmbH, I was responsible for developing a Machine Monitoring Dashboard, reworking and modernizing an old version of their existing software while integrating key new features.
Kiefel GmbH is a global leader in manufacturing machines for various industries, particularly Packaging and Fiber Technologies. This dashboard was designed to provide customers with real-time monitoring, dynamic statistics, and detailed status reports for their purchased machines.
Hence this dashboard was created to enable their customers to monitor their purchased machines with dynamic statistics and status reports. I was primarily responsible for frontend development, implementing major features and ensuring an intuitive user experience. While the team consisted of eight members, my role was pivotal in handling the core UI/UX development and implementing large feature tickets, with assistance from others when needed.
We followed Agile methodologies, using Jira, Confluence, and daily stand-ups for collaboration.
The redesigned dashboard significantly improved user experience, performance, and accessibility, receiving positive feedback from both internal teams and potential customers. This project strengthened my expertise in frontend development, Agile workflows, problem-solving, and collaboration in a professional environment.
